Dining in New York Times Square

When visiting New York’s Times Square, there is a vast selection of restaurants and dining experiences to choose from. No matter your budget or the amount of time that you have to eat, you will find something that will fit your needs. You will see all the common chain restaurants as well as every type of cuisine, catering to visitors and locals alike. Don’t just settle for a chain restaurant that you are familiar with.

There are many good restaurants in Times Square that offer very affordable meals and there are plenty of places that are family and kid friendly. Of course, if you’re on a budget it’s easy to avoid places like Churrascaria Platforma, which has fixed prices for their food starting at $35.95 a person for lunch and $56.95 a person for dinner (reduced prices for those under 10, though) and find local eateries. There are many small cafes and such places that have good pricing for their food. Even some of the larger places like Edison Café have very good prices for their food.

It’s possible to check on the internet for information on restaurants online. There are review sites like yelp that connect you to what people have said about the restaurants. You can also figure out what’s good that the restaurant serves from the reviews. Reviews might say that you should get the cheesecake but never the fries. You might also check reviews from critics who critique for a living.

Be aware that to dine in some restaurants you will need to have reservations made ahead of time.
